We have dedicated the last 2 months to nothing but baseball. It has been a lot of fun but very busy! Dakota was on a Little League team and Jerad was the coach so we were at the fields every night of the week. Their record was 10-6 and they came in 3rd place. Our season didn't end there though; Dakota made the All Star team and got to play for an additional few weeks. They started off great but had a couple of tough losses to end the season :(
Brody was a trooper most of the time. I don't think he had a full nap or a normal bedtime the entire season, so I give him credit for that. It is not always easy being the little brother, but as Dakota says, "At least he is learning the game early!" Ha ha, my boys and baseball!

Brody has a mohawk...
Dakota decided that he needed a Mohawk to start baseball season and that Brody needed one as well. So we got out the clippers and shaved Brody's head, only for Dakota to decide he wants to wait until he is out of school to have his Mohawk, ha ha.
Jerad and I agreed that Brody finally has a hairstyle that fits his strong personality!

The Boys
The boys are getting so big. Dakota is 11 and starting the second half of his 5th grade year. He is doing well in school and getting very excited for baseball to start this spring. He is the best big brother and loves playing with Brody despite the age difference. Brody just turned 1 and amazes me everyday with the new things that he learns. He is a stubborn, vocal and loving child all in one, I wonder where he gets that?
Finally Blogging!
Yes, I have finally decided that it is time for a blog. I love looking at blogs and thought this would be something fun, although I am not sure how often it will be updated.
